The ASICS GEL-NYC RGD Black/Graphite Grey Trainers combine the GEL-NYC running-inspired shape with a darker, more rugged-looking upper. Black mesh sits beneath graphite-grey overlays, while the layered ASICS stripes fill the side of the shoe.
Broad panels wrap around the toe and heel, giving the RGD version a more enclosed profile than the standard GEL-NYC. Smaller mesh sections remain visible between the overlays and across the toe. Black laces, a dark collar and a heel pull tab continue the restrained colour scheme.
The sculpted sole has several rounded sections and a small pale accent near the midfoot. ASICS builds this model on GEL-CUMULUS 16 tooling, combining lightweight foams with GEL technology inserts at the rearfoot and forefoot. Its upper design draws on details from the GEL-NIMBUS 3 and GEL-MC PLUS V.
