The ASICS GEL-NYC Cream / Arctic Sky Trainers are unisex, low-top trainers with a layered running-inspired design. Cream mesh forms the base of the upper, while pale blue Arctic Sky overlays shape the toe, lace area and heel.
The open mesh remains visible across the toe and sides, giving the light blue panels a clear outline. Cream laces sit against the blue lace panels, and ASICS side stripes cross the midfoot in lighter tones. Together, these details give the pair a softer look than darker GEL-NYC colourways while keeping the model’s technical shape.
The GEL-NYC upper takes design cues from the early-2000s GEL-NIMBUS 3 and details from the GEL-MC PLUS V. Beneath it, ASICS uses a tooling system based on the GEL-CUMULUS 16. This combination of older upper references and later sole design defines the GEL-NYC silhouette.
